Hello,
I have been trying to convince my company to adapt soapUI Pro since I have been using it for sometime and it is absolutely wonderful and keep getting better. My company has apprehensions because it is open-source.

I want to set aside these fears but would like some information from you.

1. Do you have a list of companies who are using soapUI.
2. What kind of assurance do I have that soapUI / Eviware will continue to exist after 2-3 years. What happens if you sell eviware to some other company?

Thanks

Ali

Hi Ali,

great thanks for your support! Our client relationships are unfortunately under a non-disclosure agreement, but we are proud of the fact that soapUI is used by several Fortune 50 companies as well in the public sector all over the world. Also, we are establishing collaborations with several key players in the industry; we have a strategic partnership with SUN (see https://open-esb.dev.java.net/CommunityPartnerDirectory.html) and collaborations with JBoss (http://labs.jboss.com/jbosside/) and PushToTest (http://www.pushtotest.com/ ).

Regarding the selling of eviware to some other company, we of course can not guarantee that this situation will not arise, but if it does it will most likely be for the gain of soapUI's users and customers.

Our vision is to establish soapUI and derived products as the leading Web Service Testing and Development Utility over the next 2-3 years and we estimate our chances to be more than good as soapUI has received wide industry acceptance and excellent feedback from its users. We have received initial financing from government organizations and are partially owned by a large corporation with close to a thousand employees and turnaround at around 200 mil here in Sweden.

Hope this clears some of your questions, dont hesitate to ask more if required.

best regards,

/Ole

If Eviware and PushToTest were to combine companies and resources we'd have the best of both worlds - and a long term, full test cycle  solution.
