soapUI, the market leading Web Service Test tool, is now included in Sun's Open ESB project . eviware has joined the Open ESB partner program and provides an adapted version of the popular soapUI NetBeans plug in for Open ESB 2.0.
Open ESB implements an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) runtime using Java Business Integration as the foundation. This allows easy integration of web services to create loosely coupled enterprise class composite applications.
The inclusion of the soapUI NetBeans plug in allows developers to test standalone Web Services, WS-BPEL Processes and Open ESB 2.0 Web Service components from within NetBeans, allowing the development process to be more efficient by allowing early functional and load testing of the Web Services created or consumed.
"The partnership with Open ESB is a natural extension to our NetBeans partnership and Open ESB is an outstanding example of the high quality of modern Open Source", says Ole Matzura CEO of eviware software ab, "We are proud to be have been selected by SUN for this collaboration and see it as further confirmation of the quality of our product and vision."
Open ESB 2.0 was launched to great acclaim at JavaONE in May 2007.
